Dominic goes for a swim

A few nights ago I went to watch the new Harry Potter film with Minnie. Today David and I watched Dominic overturn his kayak in Sydney harbour and get very wet. It was another perfect Sydney day without a cloud in the sky (Sydney has been like this for weeks now - it's wonderful) and so we headed down to the Middle Harbour in order to hire a few kayaks. David and I also wanted to try out our underwater cameras. We were in luck - the water was completely clear! The photos of the jelly fish and the common stingaree were taken simply by sticking my camera under the water and clicking - it was that clear!

Anyway, I hope the photos tell the story ... it was wonderful. We paddled under the spit bridge, stopped to watch and photograph all the moon jelly fish ... Dominic liked the jelly fish so much that he capsized his kayak. David and I didn't help. We were laughing too much. He then had to swim to shore and empty all the water out of his kayak. We took photos.

Apart from the stingaree and jelly fish we also spotted a heron and lots of little fish that were swimming around.

Two hours after starting we returned the kayaks and had some fish and chips.
